Our Graduate Support begins with our IIJA Registry of Appraisers and Gemologists that is presented through our JewelryAdjuster.com insurance adjusting website, and provided to the world wide insurance industry. The IIJA is actively involved in the insurance industry and we utilze that standing to support and promote our graduates to the industry. Here is a link to the IIJA Registry of Appraisers and Gemologist.
The IIJA office has formulated an Official Press Release for our graduates when they complete the IIJA Registered Gemologist Appraiser or Registered Gemologist programs. We will send these press releases via email or US Postal Service mail to the media contact list in your area that you provide.
There is no charge for this press release support service, however each student must supply the full contact and mailing list they wish to receive the IIJA Official Press Release. Please allow 5 days for the press release to be submitted.
Please use the Contact Us form here on the IIJA website to submit your request and attach your list of contacts via Microsoft Word document, only.
The IIJA will use out insurance industry connections to send a direct mail outreach to all insurance agents, adjuster and insurance attorney’s within a 10 mile reach of your office. This is a mailed letter of introduction and support of your gemology and appraisal services to the insurance and legal industry around you to let them know about your services. Once completed, we will send you the contact mailing list so you can follow up with your own mailing, and go out and visit these professional offices to let them know more about your service.
The minimum base fee is $195.00 that includes the mailing list, letter of introduction from the IIJA, and all mailing costs from the IIJA office. Final cost depends on how many insurance offices you want to reach. We will provide a firm cost before completing the outreach. Fee includes getting your own copy of the direct mail list after the mailing is complete.
Please use the Contact Us form here on the IIJA website to get information.
The IIJA Registered Gemologist Appraiser seal is the official seal of our graduates to let insurance agents, underwriters, and adjusters know they are dealing with an IIJA trained professional. The IIJA seal is available only to those holding the RGA Diploma, and who maintain their 2 year re-certification program. To order, click the image at left.
For 2019 we have redesigned the IIJA logo to better demonstrate our look to a bright and successful future for all of our students and graduates. We urge all IIJA Graduates and Students to place the IIJA logo on your website or documents to show your commitment to ethics in the gemstone industry. Click the icon link at left to visit the IIJA Logo page and download your copy. If you need help with resizing or other formats we are happy to help.

The Diamond Council of America courses are now available to all IIJA Students and Graduates, this includes all active and graduate students in either the RGA, RG or Individual Course programs. The IIJA has worked very hard to bring this important jewelry industry sales training to our IIJA Community through our ongoing friendship and support of the DCA.
DCA courses are normally $125.00 but with the IIJA subsidy for your courses, your price is only $100.00 with the IIJA providing a $25.00 scholarship to all ISG students and graduates who take the DCA courses.
The IIJA works closely with the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers, and strongly recommends that all RGA and RG Graduates join the NAJA. The NAJA provides ongoing education and support that is unique in the world jewelry appraisal industry. Their program provides expanded professional training giving the appraiser the ability to increase their professional knowledge and standing in the industry.
The IIJA will provide a letter of recommendation to our RGA and RG Graduates to help you become a member of this prestigious organization.
The IIJA continues to offer our students and graduates the finest level of gemological lab testing and support. We maintain our Enwave Raman, MDM UV-VIS-NIR Spectrometer, and a variety of other lab tools to help support your gemological lab in your office. Plus, with our history in gem research, we have connections to get XRF, LA-ICP-MS, SEM and other advanced testing done by independent scientific labs to support you whether you are performing appraisals or serving as expert witness in major llitigations. We support you to help you be more successful.
